Our legal wedding took place the day before our "Feast of Celebration" picnic at Lindberg Park. The night before, we weren't even sure whether or not Reverend Mas would be able to perform our wedding ceremony on Saturday morning. Early the next morning, we confirmed that we could get married at 10:30 that same day. We called Jenni's best friend Maria, who brought a sunflower, day lillies, her one year old daughter, Hope, and her husband Eduardo, who took photos for us. Jenni picked a rose from our backyard. Afterwards, we went to lunch in Koreatown. It was simply perfect.
